Sang and Ritchelle's San Francisco Wedding | Same Day Edit
Ritchelle and Sang wanted to sit back in the company of family and friends and watch their wedding day unfold on film at their reception; they wanted a SDE . We are so happy they chose us to create one for them!
They began their beautiful wedding day at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins, had their ceremony at St. Ignatius Church, took a trolley car all around the city and celebrated into the evening with friends and family. We had so much fun with everyone!
Here is the Same Day Edit we made to show at the reception that night.

Amy and Steven's Nestledown Wedding
This day at Nestldown could not have been more beautiful; the tulips opened just in time to fill the gardens with color, the weather was perfect and Amy and Steven could not have been happier. It was, in every sense, a fairytale wedding: whimsical and fun balanced with sincere love and commitment. Amy and Steven had family and friends fly in from all over (Texas, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Florida, New Jersey, Seattle, Los Angeles) and the day was that much richer because of their company.
Choosing venders is always a daunting task for couples planning for their weddings and it is made that much harder when it is a destination wedding like this one. Amy did a wonderful job picking a team of venders to bring her wedding together. Brooke at Nestldown made the day run flawlessly; Calvin from Fisheye Photo was a blast to work with all day (not to mention he captured beautiful photos); Woody from Big Fun DJ didn’t miss a beat, the music for the ceremony was flawless and he kept people dancing and having fun all night.

Ana and David's Julia Morgan Ballroom Wedding in San Francisco
We are so excited to share this wedding, Ana and David are two of the sweetest, most appreciative people we have had the pleasure of filming. Their wedding overflowed with love, happiness, excitement and joy. The weather in San Francisco was lovely: sunny with wispy clouds, and the light in the Julia Morgan Ballroom was beautiful. We were even able to sneak off to the rooftop for sunset and city lights with this amazing couple. Capturing Anna and David’s love for each other and the people in their lives was such a pleasure.
Emily and Ruben's Vine Hill Winery Wedding
Intimate, touching and timeless, this wedding was simply gorgeous. Emily and Ruben planned it to perfection. They, and their guests, made us feel like we were part of the family right off the bat. We could not have had more fun filming their wedding. Truly a wonderful celebration to be part of!

Jamie and Becca's Pebble Beach Wedding
Pefect weather at Pebble Beach Resort combined with loving family and friends made Jamie and Becca's wedding one to remember! This was right in our back yard, but for Jamie and Becca it was a destination wedding. Pebble Beach is a very special place for them and we were so grateful to be part of their big day and get to know them and their family.

Paul and Gabi 's Wedding Trailer
Paul and Gabi wanted a wedding filled with family and friends; they wanted it to be personal and unforgettable. Every detail was important, from her flower hair clip, made from her mothers veil, to the aisle lined with photos of parents and grandparents on their wedding days. The natural beauty of the venue, Clos LaChance winery, was enriched by every detail. Flowers tucked in glass bottles danced in the wind behind the ceremony while candles and stunning bouquets lined every table. They had guests from as far as Bulgaria, and as traditional Bulgarian music filled the air and guests laughed and danced, you knew this day would remember with joy in the years to come.

For this style shoot Lani Elizabeth Fine Designs in Flowers & Events wanted to do something "fun and funky with a vintage/industrial edge to it, yet not too over the top!" We contrasted the bright, bold, and dramatic colors and displays with a vintage look and highlighted the down town location with a couple of timelapses of the museum at night.

Nicole and Sam's Wedding
Nicole and Sam's beautiful DIY wedding was filled with laughter, love and tons of fun. Sam's dad, a retired flower farmer, hosted the ceremony on his stunning property near La Selva Beach, outside of Aptos. This gorgeous estate was the perfect backdrop to highlight this intimate gathering of friends and family. Nicole saw to every detail of the planning. For the wedding she made an embroidered felt piece for their invitations; a hand painted map to guide everyone to the wedding; individually made calla lily table numbers; a sash of hand sewn wooden, shell and vintage buttons; pale lavender linen ties for the men; a batik fabric ring pillow with felt flowers; and a flag garland sewn in plumbs and blues that read "July 9, 2011, Sam & Nicole, A New Beginning."
It was such a pleasure to be a part of this beautiful day. We felt like friends right from the start, and we loved every minute working with Nichole and Sam.

Jessica and Jeff's Same Day Edit
Jessica and Jeff wanted something special to show their guests at their wedding. They came to us with a bunch of great ideas, we talked and emailed and decided a same day edit was the best way to go. They wanted to personalize the video, so they found a song they loved and we had them, and their family, sing along with the chorus. This short film was shown at the reception and with so much more great footage we can't wait to edit the rest of their videos!

Emily and Ruben 's Engagement Shoot
The setting was that of a secret garden with new treasures around every corner, a bed under the trees, wild flower gardens and even a hidden little orchard where they had their picnic. Ruben grew up on this gorgeous property in the Santa Cruz Mountains, his brother was married there and it seemed only fitting that Emily and Ruben should shoot their engagement video there.

Jessica and Michael's Seascape Wedding
Jessica and Michael were a true pleasure to work with and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day at Seascape. The morning fog burned of early and the cool ocean breeze and sunny day just added to the perfection of this wedding. Every moment was packed with family, friends and beautiful traditions. This wedding had it all, a stunning bride, a groom and groomsmen that sing and dance, sweets for their sweet marriage, stories from the generations, a live band and even the mayor of Santa Cruz.

Jessica and Michael's Engagement Shoot
Jessica loved to go to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk growing up, so when brainstorming about where to shoot her and Michael's engagement session it was at the top of the list. We could not have picked a better place to capture who they are as a couple. And what a fantastic couple they are! They brought adorable lollypops, two with their initials and one big rainbow one to add a splash of color and personality to their shoot. A dip under the big dipper and a few games at the arcade were a must to make this picture perfect day complete. Relaxing on the beach, walking on the railroad tracks and running around the rides made for a very fun afternoon.
Valentine's Day Short
We decided to spend Valentine's Day doing two of our favorite things, spending time together, and filming. It was a blustery day in Santa Cruz so we packed up some hot tea, cookies, and camera gear, and headed to one of our favorite spots. It was our first time using our new crane. It worked beautifully and we love how much depth it adds to each shot we used it in! We made this short, and took some photos to share with you. We hope you enjoy them, we sure enjoyed making them.

Jeff and Danielle's "Trash the Dress"

Not every trash the dress shoot is trashy and this one was anything but. Jeff and Danielle wanted something fun, something unique and something that captured who they are as a couple. They cam up with the theme "life's Journey with a twist on vintage travel." The theme was perfect, both avid travelers, their house is filled with maps, mementos and photos of places they have been: Africa, Thailand, Italy, Mexico... These mementos coupled with their carefree, fun loving personalities and a gorgeous setting made for an amazing day and a beautiful video.
