Marcel & Sasha | Extended Feature Film

Ric and I had the best time filming Marcel and Sasha's wedding at a stunning private estate in the Carmel Valley. Their wedding day could not have been more beautiful or full of love. These two began their lives on opposite ends of the globe and found each other, fell in love and brought two incredibly warm and loving families together.

I think Sasha's brother put it best when he said that when Sasha dreamed of this wedding, she dreamt of a fairy tale and she got one. The day was perfection! We are so happy to have had the chance to get to know this amazing couple and be a part of capturing this beautiful celebration.

We had the pleasure of being a part of this wedding from its infancy. Laurel contacted us before choosing anything else for her wedding! When we asked what inspired her, she said "I wand everything vintage, rustic, old-world, with lace and elegant simple florals". We quickly put her in touch with Danielle from Danielle Gillett Photography and APIS Florals and suggested she check out Nestldown. Well it was love at first sight and our amazing little team was born. 

Laurel and Matthew's wedding was truly gorgeous and it was such a pleasure to work along side such talented vendors to create something so unique and beautiful. If, like us, you just can't get enough of this darling couple then be sure to check out some of Danielle's stunning photographs below.

Laura and Kyle's Wedding at Arista Winery | Short Film

We are so honored to have been a part of this beautiful celebration of love and family. As Rabbi Jim Ponet so eloquently said, "Laura and Kyle created a new world on this day," a future together that will clearly be cherished. Their love for each other and all of the people in their lives was evident in every glance and each interaction. It was a day rich with tradition, full of laughter and brimming with joy. 

Arista Winery was gorgeous with its old oak trees, rolling hills and picturesque views. It has all the elements that make me love filming weddings. The light sprinkle of raindrops that came through for a couple of minutes, cooling down the warm afternoon, brought with it a spectacular sunset.  

The day was lovely in every way and we are so happy we could take part in capturing it. Working alongside Susannah and Greg from  Susannah Gill Photographic Storytelling, Heather from Holiday Weddings and Alex from AMS Entertainment made this breathtaking wedding a joy to be a part of. Laura and Kyle could not have selected a better group to bring their wedding together. You can find the rest of this dream team below.

There are a few things that just make me giddy when it comes to filming weddings and vineyards at sunset are one of them. I adore Fogarty, especially its views and the light. I really love the light. And the color palette Lexie chose was just lovely in this sunny and bright setting. Lexie and Jose are such a sweet couple, and they really incorporated so much of themselves into their day. They also brought together a really fun team to create this lovely celebration. Ric and I had so much fun working along side Rachel form Rachel Blackwell photography and Patty from Thomas Fogarty Winery. We are so happy to see this lovely day published on the Knot Today!

From the moment Lindsey, from BellaLu Photography, and I started chatting about making this short film I could tell it was a match made in heaven. I already knew that Lindsey and Nathan were AMAZING photographers, but watching them with their two little girls and hearing them talk about what it means to be a family... Well, I just couldn't help but fall in love with who they are. I could go on and on about these four, but why not hear it from them? Daniel and Shannon's Nestldown Wedding | Highlights Film

Details, details, details! I have never seen more lovely little details than I did at Shannon and Daniel's stunning Nestldown wedding. Around every corner, in every nook and cranny, I found something lovingly crafted, hand made and gorgeously arranged. Bloomster's Florals were out of this world gorgeous!!  Nestldown is an absolutely stunning venue, it is one of our all-time-favorite places to shoot! On top of everything we love about this gorgeous venue's natural beauty, Shannon and Daniel's wedding had countless personal touches. It was just perfect:  full of romance, tears of joy, and warm and loving people. Check out the images below to see a few of the day's details and precious moments captured on film.
