Edgar and Brenda's Nicklaus Club Wedding | Feature Film

Edgar and Brenda have to be two of the sweetest people on the planet, so documenting their wedding day was a true honor and a pleasure for both Ric and I. We had so much fun with the two of them and their family and friends!  Their wedding is one of my favorites because of the way it overflowed with all of the things that matter most in life: love, family, friends and a whole lot of fun! When you add in all of the beauty of venues like the Nicklaus Club and Carmel Mission and great vendors like Efrain and Jose from  APIS florals, the day can’t be anything but beautiful!

Andrew & Laura's Nestldown Wedding | Short Film

We are so happy to have had the chance to get to know Laura and Andrew and help capture such a fun and unique wedding. Laura and Andrew met in a history of waltz class at Stanford and are very active in the social dance scene. So, not only were they fantastic dancers, but many of their wedding guests were too. Get ready for some seriously good dancing and a really creative and beautiful celebration. 

Laura and Andrew chose Nestldown because it is a very unique venue, with lots of hidden spots and areas to explore. Not many places have such diverse grounds with redwood groves and orchards, ponds and open fields, manicured gardens and rustic trails. Andrew and Laura planned their wedding with this in mind, making sure that their guests could enjoy and explore the beauty of Nestldown to it's fullest.  Instead of a sitdown dinner they arranged for a roaming cocktail hour with heavy hor d'oeuvres where their guests could wander the grounds between different the catered areas. Everyone had a blast. 

Ric and I had such a fun day working alongside Augie and his team, from Photography by Augie Chang. They had that perfect mix of professionalism, talent, and fun that makes for really great collaboration!  

Joanna & Michael's Nestldown Wedding | Highlights Film

We had the privilege of being a part of Joanna and Michael's wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos, CA. Nestldown is one of our all-time favorite venues to film at. It's stunning year round and this gorgeous autumn was no exception. Surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens, this day was nothing short of breathtaking. Joanna and Michael's family and friends flew from all over to be there for these two, as they celebrated their love and commitment.

Jinah & Richard's Wedding at Willow Heights Mansion | Short Film

Jinah and Richard got married at the beautiful Willow Heights Mansion.  This picturesque spot, surrounded by rolling hills, was the perfect place for this celebration of love. Working with these two fun loving people and their family and friends was such a blast. We love the way all the little details and moments came together as we told their story in this film. As you can see, the day had just the right mix of touching moments and crazy fun.

One of our favorite moments on this day was the gift exchange. Jinah and Richard set aside a couple of extra minutes in the morning to read the cards they wrote to each other and I just love what it adds to their film! 

On this beautiful day we had the pleasure of working alongside Gavin (of Gavin Farrington photography). He has a style of photography that focuses on documenting the day, rarely posing anything, yet capturing everything. Gavin and his second shooter, Susanna, were absolutely fantastic to work with. Thi & Erich's Wedding at Radonich Ranch | Highlights Film

Thi and Erich's big day was everything we love about wedding celebrations.  It had it all, an amazing couple, a beautiful natural setting, a big group of fantastic people and a whole lot of love. If that wasn't enough, their vows were some of the best we have ever heard and Thi's Dad gave an unforgettably touching toast. This day was perfection!

Ric & Rose | Our Travels in Vietnam!

Last January we decided to take a month off from our 24/7 work schedule to travel. We left our day-to-day lives behind and, with almost no plan at all, we booked a flight to Vietnam.

Together we flew, hiked, biked, scootered and boated across the country.  As we traveled, we filmed a bit here and there and took photos - lots of photos. Mostly we immersed ourselves in the excitement of traveling, the joy of being somewhere entirely new. 

When we returned home, we decided to take some of the moments we captured during our travels and make a film to remember our adventure in the years to come.

We thought, since many of you are trying to get to know a bit about who we are, we we would share our film and photos with you here. You can see a few of our favorite photos below.
