Julia is a very talented Bay Area photographer and we were so excited to be a part of her wedding. Her experience and keen eye guided every decision she made in planning her wedding. So, as you can imagine, the light, decor and locations were all perfect for her vision.
She fell in love with this Sonoma Valley wedding venue on her first visit. B.R. Cohn Winery was just what she was looking for. Each area of the venue had unique views and offered something special for her and her guests. They even had a trolley to take guests from one special spot to another.
Julia and Jeremy started the day getting ready at the winery, exchanging special gifts with their family and wedding party. Some of our favorites were the custom bobble heads made to look like each of the groomsmen, and the sweet embroidered message from Julia's sister sewn into her wedding dress!
To calm their nerves, and make sure they had lots of time for photos, they had their first site at the edge of some lovely oak trees in the morning. While they did a few bridal party and family photos, the rest of their guests arrived and rode the trolley to the ceremony site which was held on a beautiful hill surrounded by a grove of old oak trees and vineyards. Then everyone headed onto the trolley for the cocktail party at the amphitheater where they relaxed under an incredible old oak tree with a view of the rolling vineyards and hills in the distance. The reception on the lawn in the olive grove was beautiful with its flowers, strings of bistro lights, and all the precious personal details Julia and Jeremy brought.
"Thank you so much for everything! You both were so amazing and we couldn’t have asked for two better videographers on our wedding day. "
